NEW FACILITIES INSTALLED

With the rising demand of 21st Century Education, Potrero National School recognizes the need to undergo major changes in the physical environment to better serve stakeholders and augment the implementation of the curriculum.

In the past months, Potreronians witnessed the turnover of Audio Visual Room on the 3rd Floor of the Admin Building.

The said facility was made possible through DepEd’s Adopt – A –School Program and the generosity of Petbowe Trading Corporation, Granville Industrial Chemical Corporation in cooperation with Rotary Club of Malabon East and Rotary Club of Malabon.

They were the same organizations that donated Mini Library and Computer sets in the past years.

Likewise, new computer laboratory is set to open next school year with 49 sets of computers delivered by DepEd. This laboratory is an additional to the one existing and the Oreta Techno Hub.

A new 3-storey, 9-classroom building tops the changes that took place in the academic community of PNHS.  The building will house Senior High School Department which extends strands offering from General Academics to Accountancy, Business Management (ABM) and Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

With these changes, Potrero National High School continues its vows to uphold academic excellence and be a home of future functional leaders.

PNHS SETS LEARNERS’ EARLY REGISTRATION

In preparation for the opening of classes, Potrero National High School was one with public schools nationwide in conducting Early Registration for a period beginning January 28 to February 24, 2017.

This effort aimed at targeting expected number of enrollees, preparing the school and being able to address potential issues that it will face come June 2017.

Various activities such as house-to-house campaign visit and meetings with local barangay officials and civic organizations were made by the school community to realize the objectives of the activity.
